Lucy Bear!

Lucy Bear!

A few weeks ago, I had a life changing experience: I went to Coachella! Oh, yeah, I also got a new puppy named Lucy! Okay, so maybe getting a puppy is also a life changing experience, after-all. We had been looking for a puppy ever since we moved to Los Angeles, but we still had not found the right one. Looking for a miniature goldendoodle that was not astronomical in cost sure proved to be a challenging task. Upon some blind luck, we stumbled upon this miniature goldendoodle that was available as a rescue (shocker). It was love at first sight, and once the puppy was in hand, there was no putting it down. Nine weeks later, Lucy is fluffy as ever, and as you can see in these pictures, definitely deserves the surname of Bear. So, without much further ado, Lucy Bear!!

Point Dume – Malibu, CA

So the other day, my friend and I had the great idea of heading out to Joshua Tree National Park to snap some pictures. The idea was great, that is until it was already 3:00PM and we were still in Hollywood (Joshua Tree is a little over 2 hours away). Realizing it was pretty much a waste to go, we decided to head up the coast and see what else there was to offer. I mean, this is Southern California after all, we were sure there would be something along the coast we could explore and take pictures at. After driving about 40 minutes north on the PCH, we stumbled upon Point Dume in Malibu. I quickly realized that another friend had brought me here on one of my first trips to California as the view was not one that could be easily forgotten. While there, we were able to catch the sun-setting over the coast of Malibu, which provided for some great pictures!

Magic Bronson – House of Blues, Sunset Strip

I first heard of the electronic duo who go by the name of Magic Bronson when my friend’s band, Eliquate, opened up for themĀ  down in Hollywood at the Milk Bar. The two times I saw them live, they rocked pretty hard. So when I heard they were playing a show in the Foundation Room at the House of Blues down the street from my house, I grabbed my camera and ran on down. As expected, the Bronsons brought it and the Foundation Room was actually a pretty cool and intimate venue (although the dark red and blue lighting was far from ideal for pictures).
